Since 1999, Chateau Champcenetz has belonged to Mr and Mrs SMIDT and their family, Danish citizens of Copenhagen. After enormous reconstruction of both buildings and technical equipment, the family now meets the challenge of making quality wines of Château Champcenetz (Bordeaux Supérieur, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux and Cadillac). Their efforts have already been awarded several medals and mentioned in the Guide Hachette des Vins 2004, 2006 and the Guide Fleurus des Vins 2006.
